Code Orange

Curator’s Note: Code Orange embodies the spirit of Capriccio through its reinterpretation of architecture as fantasy. Much like Capriccio artists who transformed landscapes with dramatic ruins or grand structures, Code Orange presents the Ram Temple as both an architectural fantasy and a symbol of fleeting power. Its partially constructed form evokes a crumbling ruin, yet it stands as a totem of an imagined empire. This juxtaposition mirrors the lively and virtuosic nature of Capriccio in music, where Code Orange resonates with its dynamic and evocative composition.

Background score: ‘Horror Bass Choir’ by John Patitucci, from the album Scenes From An Imaginary Film.
